We are here to give the best support possible to new screenwriters, in particular giving you access to current established screenwriters for you to seek the latest advice and guidance.

Nathan Elston is a writer/producer from Brooklyn, New York, best known for his work on HBO's hit series SUCCESSION as Staff Writer and Associate Producer. Nathan began his career in television as a production assistant and showrunner’s assistant, and his writing has placed in notable screenwriting contests. He is now represented by UTA and is developing projects with several high-profile production companies.

This monthly virtual workshop is here to help aspiring screenwriters with career and writing advice. This virtual workshop is run by the Head of the MFJF Writer's Corner Nathan Elston.
Nate's aim is to give you the insider's view and practical advice he wishes he had known when he started his film career.
The workshop is 90 minute long, delivered via Zoom, this is meant to be an interactive format so please come prepared with questions you've always had about starting your screenwriting career.
