Tim is a Composer and Sound Designer working mostly in independent film, with previous experience in Advertising and Broadcast.
He works across other disciplines including Theatre, Installation, and is Head of Sound and Music at now>press>play, an innovative EdTech company creating immersive headphone audio adventures for primary school children.
As a Composer, Tim draws on a wealth of knowledge of diverse genres and world music traditions, combining his voice, cello and other acoustic instruments with ambient electronic sounds.
Recent film credits include The Babka (BSA), The Comedown (BSA), All My Friends Hate Me (BFI, premiered at Tribeca/LFF, available on BFI Player) and Sweet Little Despair (BFI Network, winner of the SW Award at Encounters).
Tim holds a BA (Hons) Music, MA Sound Art, and has been a visiting lecturer at Open City Docs School, UCL and Brunel Univeristy.
