Relatively fresh in the industry, I moved to the UK five years ago, and despite the challenges of COVID and industry strikes, I managed to build steady experience and progress to a 3rd. I’m happy to chat with anyone who wants my personal overview of how the industry works and what those first steps can look like — from understanding the landscape to approaching people, finding opportunities, and landing your first (and second) job.
