Simon Sansone

Simon Sansone is a Line Producer and co-owner of Production Service Company Small Island Films Ltd in Malta and Other Island Films Ltd in the UK.
Simon is one of the founders and was Chairperson of the Malta Producers Association for 4 years (2018-2022).
With more than 25 years of production experience to date, Simon has worked on over 70 international productions ranging from micro-budget documentaries to high-end major motion Hollywood and European feature films and TV series. His filmography includes several award winning projects, including ‘Styx’ which opened the Panorama section of the Berlinale film festival 2018; Hollywood’s ‘Risen’ directed by Kevin Reynolds and starring Joseph Fiennes and ‘Paul - Apostle of Christ’, produced for Sony Pictures starring Jim Caviezel. Most recently Simon worked on Jason Statham’s ‘Beekeeper’ (2023) and ‘Zero AD’ (aka ‘Bethlehem’) directed by Alejandro Monteverde and starring Sam Worthington, Jim Caviezel, Ben Mendelsohn and Gael Garcia Bernal (2024/2025).
Simon is a hands-on producer with a solid track record in bringing challenging productions into being, on budget and on schedule.
