About Rachel
Hello I'm Rachel and I freelance within the Art Department for Film & Television. I have been working in the industry for 2 years. I started out working on student productions followed by a feature film, pilot TV show, commercial. I've learnt and developed many skills including set dressing and design, making and buying props, graphics, painting and running.
I recently did a course with David McHenry who's previous credits include 'Rush' and 'Dredd'. IT was an amazing experience where I learned, and improved, my skills with basic drafting, location surveys, model making, lens angles, aspect ratios & lens projections, script breakdowns and storyboarding.
I studied Fine Arts & New Media at Winchester School of Art a part of The University of Southampton, graduating in with a 2:1 in 2012. One of the many highlights of my course was the five months I spent in Milan at the art institute NABA (Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti.)
I'm a social person, easy to get on with and love working within a team. I have a clean drivers license and my own car. Art department is everything to me and would be loyal and hard working whoever took me on.
