Course Leaders



Oliver Bowyer

Oliver Bowyer – Head of Industry Liaison at Escape Studios. He works closely with studios such as Industrial Light & Magic and Framestore to build and develop courses as well as offering bespoke training to fill gaps in their pipelines. Originally a Camera Operator, he moved over to VFX and post-production to work alongside award-winning artists and producers before moving into education.




Mark Spevick

Mark Spevick - Houdini Tutor with over 10 years of industry experience in film VFX! He got his big break at Peerless Camera, the production house co-owned by Terry Gilliam, and worked on every Gilliam film from Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas to The Imaginarium of Dr Parnassus, starring the late Heath Ledger.
