I've always loved telling stories. My friends' parents still to this day tell me "I remember when you and [my friend] would play with legos when you were younger", but as I grew up, I explored different ways of telling my stories. In secondary school I was passionate about creative writing but I often found myself struggling to find what words to say to actually present the story in a meaningful way. My tutor in year 11 was a film teacher who had previously worked in the industry. She told me to seek education elsewhere if I was serious about creating stories so after year 11 I started taking film seriously. I made a collection of short films at my time in college and decided that this is what I wanted to do with my life. I'm now at university in Brighton taking a practical filmmaking degree to allow me to gain experience with film equipment and softwares while also enhancing the skills I may need to one day become a successful filmmaker. I find myself to be quite sociable and communicative, especially on a film set. I find team chemistry to be quite important, even in something as simple as friendships as it makes doing anything much more enjoyable.
