I’ve been making films since I was nine years old, but for a long time I tried to run from it. I chased status, quick wins, and approval. through music, clothes, and the wrong types of validation because I was insecure about being seen. I wanted success more than I wanted to be honest with myself. But film has always been my truth. It’s how I’ve processed the world since I was a kid. I used to get bullied for making films, but I never stopped. It’s where I felt safe to express the things I couldn’t say out loud. I tell stories that explore masculinity, shame, identity, and redemption. because those are the battles I’ve lived through. I’m interested in characters who feel like they’re not enough and the journey they take to reclaim themselves. I don’t want to make films for social media or attention. I want to make cinema that stays with people, that digs into the soul, and doesn’t shy away from pain, contradiction, or beauty. My first major project is Sole, a film about a boxer grappling with his sexuality and the consequences of betraying the people he loves. It’s not a sports film. It’s a film about shame, identity, and self-forgiveness. It’s about fighting for your soul.
