My name is Stanislava or Stacy and I am a London-based film and music video director. I am from Moscow, Russia, but lived all over. Including Finland, Switzerland, USA and now UK. So now its hard to say where I'm from really. I love film and I love making film. Ever since I can remember, I couldn't picture doing anything else with my life. And so here I am now: I graduated from UCL, where my parents forced me to go so that I have a serious degree. They wanted me to study law or economics. We settled on Psychology. After that I was free to do what I wanted and I went to study further at Metropolitan Film School. Since then its been directing directing directing more me. I directed 6 short films, 2 at Met Film and various music videos for up-and-coming artists. My films were screened all over the world at festivals, and my graduation film flawless won awards at Swansea Bay Film Festival and the Heart of England Film Festival. I also recently won an Indie Award of Merit for my short the 4th Dimension.
