A homage to the works of Italian Director Dario Argento, made in 2012 but visually reminiscent of a 1980's VHS. Profondo tells the story of a young gay man, Zane. Zane has an amazing photographic memory; however he can't recall any memory from before the age of 4. During his first visit to a new therapist, Zane delves back into his visually nightmarish dark and forgotten past. In doing so Zane unleashes the homophobic monster that ruined his life and is now free to do so again.
