Aron Stubbins

About Aron

Hi, I’m Aron. If you looked at my track record, you might wonder how someone goes from managing high-stakes emergency veterinary laboratories and tracking protected wildlife in the dead of night, to embodying intense characters on screen. To me - they all stem from the exact same place: a fascination with life, anthropology, and how we navigate the world under pressure. I'm a professional actor, voice artist, and presenter based in the outskirts of London (Aylesbury currently, but looking at places in Watford/Enfield - open to relocate anywhere for work, however). My path to the industry has been anything but conventional. Alongside my acting, I’ve spent years working as a Registered Veterinary Nurse and Lab Manager, handling high-pressure clinical environments where focus, calm, and absolute precision were non-negotiable. I've always been a natural mediator, and enjoy bridging the gaps between different teams and stakeholders, with an ability to communicate concepts, adapting to the needs of the individual. I’ve also worked as an ecologist, surveying Bats and Greater Crested-Newts in the wild along the HS2 route nationwide. What this means for my film work is that I bring a massive reservoir of rich, real-world experience, absolute discipline, and a deep, grounded empathy to every set I step onto. It also means that I have a good understanding of policy, protocol and situational safeguarding - I hold a current DBS and would love to explore Intimacy Coordinator pathways, as well as my creative interests - creating safe and exclusive spaces is something that gets me out of bed in the morning. I discuss much of this on my Youtube channel - SoulBridge Journeys - https://www.youtube.com/@SoulBridgeJourneys At SoulBridge Journeys, a creative platform and podcast where I explore the 'woo', popular culture, boundaries, autonomy and human archetypes. I feel this information should be accessible to all and not gate kept. A friend once asked me if I'd consider being a coach - I feel I am the opposite - I want others to feel empowered to be their own coach, without needing to outsource their needs to others, unless absolutely necessary. I love dissecting what makes people tick, finding the light and shadow in characters, and bringing a genuine, vulnerable human presence to the screen - whether that's in a gritty indie thriller, a voice-over booth, or a dramatic theatrical piece. Physically, I’m highly active, I love rock climbing, kayaking, and weight training, so I’m always ready for physically demanding roles. Ultimately, the film industry is a collaborative, human-first space. I pride myself on being highly adaptable, focused, and a warm, supportive presence to work with. I’m here to master my craft, build brilliant things with other creatives, and tell stories that truly resonate. I would love the opportunity to discuss my potential 'place' within the industry with someone who may see, objectively, what may be a good place for me. I'm 36 - I want to make roots for my long-term future, but feel the pressure of becoming too old for a career change, any guidance (or criticism!) would be greatly appreciated. For clarity - I have ADHD. I'm great with concepts - seeing the bigger picture, pattern-recognition and making something tangible out of an idea - whilst I passed my GCSEs and have a degree in Biology - the technical/programming aspects of production are areas I am less-interested in, but understand that there may be some overlap and will be happy to explore these options where necessary - remaining open to ideas I may not have considered. I have many production credits as an Actor (https://app.spotlight.com/3333-5618-7766), plus experience as a Runner (Second unit on 'The Man From Uncle') and assisted my old Agent (Infinite Artists LLP/BondStars) with many events, including autograph signings and appearances with their James Bond cast roster, including Sir Roger Moore's 'An Evening With' events to promote his book in the mid-2000s. As a keen fan myself, I have a great understanding of fan-service, PR and bridging the gap between fandom and content. Specifically, I see myself a little like Neemz 'The Movie Poster Guy' - Who spent years in the Jurassic Park fan community making content, who's now making the most beautiful merchandise and advertising for NBC-Universal - bringing his own experience as a fan to build the wealth of huge franchises, like Jurassic and Wicked. His passion is reflected in how these films have been promoted to the wider public, which is a win-win for production and audiences alike. Many thanks, Aron Stubbins ('Aron Woodward' for Acting) My Linktree: https://linktr.ee/aronwoodward
