About Bernardo
I'm a filmmaker originally from Rome, now based in London. My work spans directing, cinematography, writing, and producing, I've worked across more than ten short film productions in roles that have given me a broad understanding of what it takes to make a film, both creatively and operationally.
Most recently, I wrote and directed What Remains, an 11-minute drama exploring love, memory, and loss selected at One Fluid Night Film Festival 2026. I'm currently completing my training at the National Film and Television School (NFTS).
I'm drawn to independent and auteur-driven cinema, and I'm equally comfortable behind a camera, on the floor as an AD, or in development working on a script. I'm looking for opportunities where I can contribute meaningfully, keep learning, and work alongside people who care deeply about the stories they tell.
