I am a recent graduate with an MA in Film Production. I am working as a freelance filmmaker, sound recordist, and photographer. For me, Filmmaking is more than just a career; it is a passion for storytelling that began with watching films from around the world, in various languages and eras. I am captivated by the power of cinema, which can draw anyone into the unknown realms of emotion, experience, time, and other complex aspects of human life and the universe. My main aim in pursuing this art form is to express my experiences and thoughts through engaging storytelling techniques. I am still exploring my style, but I naturally gravitate towards social realism, surrealism, satirical and psychological drama. I always follow filmmaker Christopher Doyle's view that filmmaking is about the creator's experience rather than its technicalities. There are many great filmmakers I admire, for example, Ingmar Bergman, Satyajit Ray, Emir Kusturica, Hayao Miyazaki, Abbas Kiarostami, Paolo Sorrentino, Ethan Coen, and Joel Coen. I aspire to become a director, writer, and sound designer, aiming to become an artist. I am interested in drawing and painting, music, and nature. I listen to a variety of music, from classical to metal, from Bangladeshi folk to jazz. Moreover, I believe I have compassion and empathy for every individual on the planet and beyond. I am proud of my emotional ability to perceive the truth about existential mystery, which I sincerely rely on to uplift my journey as a filmmaker.
