Hello! My name is Georgia Fullerton and I am a second year undergraduate reading English at the University of Cambridge. In Cambridge, as well as my degree, I am active in the theatre and literature world, having taken part in various theatre productions as an assistant director, actor and script editor, as well as starring in a feature film in Cambridge last year. I am also editor of a Cambridge based poetry and translation zine, 'Attraverso'. I like to get involved in all things culture and my creativity spans theatre, film, writing, dancing, everything! A career in the arts would be a dream. I am interested in pursuing a career in directing and producing. My organisational and creative skills, I think, would suit these career paths. As a director, I like to explore interactions between bodies, and I think this is rooted in my lifelong interest in dance. The way our bodies connect and disconnect is its own sort of language and is something I would like to focus on in my creative pursuits. The University of Cambridge has pushed my organisational skills to the limit! I do think I should take advantage of my ability to be organised and to work under pressure in my career, and makes me think I would be suited to a role as producer as I pride myself in my ability to bring things together even in high pressure environments where other people might crack under pressure. I would love to learn more about cinematography and other technical aspects of filmmaking, as I think an all round knowledge of your craft is the most beneficial and the most beneficial on a team. I am looking to learn and for experience.
