When I was a kid trying to “record” scenes with my stuffed animals using a camcorder, it became clear that storytelling would become central to my life. While that may sound clichéd, it is unequivocally true for me. Over the years, my experiences have shaped both my professional growth and my detail-oriented, playful approach to filmmaking. I graduated from UCL with First Class Honours in Media, Culture and Communication in 2024. Now, I am a London-based filmmaker finishing my MA at the London Film School with eagerness and determination to build my career and grow with every opportunity. My background spans producing, directing, assistant directing, camera, and sound work across independent and student productions. Recent projects include directing Materectomy, a body-horror drama about maternal approval and self-destruction, producing satirical and dystopian shorts like Pigeon-Livered and Erased, and working as 1st AD on multiple productions. Coming to LFS meant developing a multi-faceted skillset, from AVID Media Composer and ProTools to scheduling, budgeting, and creative development — and frankly, I did and still do want to know it all. Because of my international background, I am fluent in English, Finnish, and Russian, with a B2 in French. I enjoy working in diverse environments and thrive in roles that require both artistic sensitivity and practical organisation. What I bring to the table is an adaptable, hard-working mindset alongside people who share the same drive to stay focused, on time, and artistically bold.
