I am a recent film graduate with a deep passion for storytelling, visual artistry, and hands-on filmmaking. From my first year at Syracuse University, I immersed myself in every aspect of film production—working in departments ranging from G&E and camera to production design, costume, and makeup. I gained early experience as an assistant art director on American High’s Big Time Adolescence (2019) and Sid is Dead (2023) while working at our university-run film gear cage, where I became well-versed in industry-level equipment. When the pandemic disrupted my coursework and on-set collaborations, I took a gap year to gain hands-on experience, launching a production company in NYC to create short-form film content for small businesses. During this time, I also deepened my love for stop-motion animation—a medium that allowed me to tell stories despite the limitations of live-action production. This passion culminated in my senior thesis, Goldy: An Unbearably Tragic Tale, a 20-minute stop-motion adaptation of Goldilocks and the Three Bears set in 1918 Romania, showcasing my skills as a filmmaker, artist, and animator. With a strong background in both live-action and stop-motion filmmaking, a keen eye for period-accurate production design, and a relentless drive to bring creative visions to life, I am eager to contribute my skills to the film industry.
