I am an aspiring film producer, editor and director. Since Leaving school I have spent seven years working full time as a professional chef, three of which working as a Junior Sous Chef at Rochelle Canteen, and most recently a private chef. I am a self taught chef, and I am now teaching myself the craft of filmmaking because I love film and want to have a career in this industry. Having been brought up home-educated and one of six I have strong discipline, self-initiative and communication skills. I enjoy learning through work because I feel it is important to be in the environment I wish to see myself in. I am passionate, attentive, reliable and a problem solver. Working in kitchens, things go wrong a lot. Being able to think on your feet and make quick decisions to resolve issues is essential and something I am proud to take away from my time working a chef. At nineteen years old, my superior chefs at Rochelle Canteen had fallen sick with Covid-19. I was the only one who was able to run the kitchen. I took the reigns and led the kitchen and restaurant through a busy weekend. A moment I will always remember. As an established chef, I have the skills required to run a high quality kitchen - as well as private dining for prestigious clients - which are also required in the making of films; organisation, ability to adapt to change, keeping to deadlines, designing and procurement of menus. As well as a keen attention for detail. Since deciding to change careers. I have worked in various film and photography roles which you can see in my CV, whilst also working on my own personal projects.
