Growing up in Cornwall, I developed a deep passion for music, film, and sound, which led me to pursue a degree in Jazz and Music Production at Leeds College of Music. Alongside my love for music, I am deeply committed to community projects and helping others. I have volunteered at the Rokpa Charity Children’s Home and the Shree Mandal Dvip Boarding School in Kathmandu, Nepal, where I taught music lessons during several visits. I also worked with Shallal, an inclusive dance theatre company based in Cornwall, which celebrates diversity, ability, and community through various art forms. This collaboration was particularly rewarding as I performed improvised music, responding to the dancers’ movements while they interacted with the sound. Over the past five years, I’ve taught English online and Music in London schools, while my fascination with sound design in films motivated me to dive deeper into audio post production. Recently, I completed an intensive Advanced Diploma in Audio Post Production for Film and TV at Abbey Road Institute, where I gained hands on experience with sound engineering tools such as Pro Tools and developed skills in sound design, dialogue editing, noise reduction, recording and multichannel mixing, including Dolby Atmos. I also completed a work placement at Wave Studios, a post production facility in London. As a runner, I supported engineers and clients, handled studio resets, and provided barista quality coffee. I also had the opportunity to observe voiceover sessions and editing workflows using Nuendo, gaining insight into the collaborative process between engineers, voice actors, producers, and clients. Now, confident operating Pro Tools software and familiar with Post Production workflows I’m seeking a position as a runner, audio / dialogue editor or assistant sound designer where I can apply my technical expertise and musical creativity. I aim to contribute to the creation of immersive cinematic experiences.
