About Sammy
I am currently studying FX in SideFXHoudini at CGSpectrum, I am also learning VFX Compositing in Nuke alongside this course through self-study with textbooks. I have a personal interest in photorealistic fire FX and compositing 3D effects on 2D live action plates.
Before venturing into VFX, I worked for 3 years as a cinematographer on various film and music video shoots and have proficiency in Premiere pro, Aftereffects and davinci resolve. I still currently do this on the side whenever I can.
My current goal is to eventually land a junior role as an FX Artist in the near future.
I sponsor myself for work in the UK as a contractor outside IR35 through my own limited company.
