I'm a graduate in digital media production looking to find their place in the film industry. Since graduating I've found freelance work as a cameraperson and editor for various small businesses and charity groups, including Matt Fiddes Martial Arts Schools Ltd, and currently work part-time editing for Octavian Economics, alongside my full-time position as a housekeeper for Huntercombe Care Home. I have immense passion for the visual form and love the opportunity to tell a story within one or multiple frames. My experience has given me good understanding and skill with editing software, most notably Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects. in my projects I've worked with various complex editing techniques, including montage and non-linear storytelling, as well as animated and 3D-based visual effects. I'm most interested in continuing my experience in editing and expanding my experience in camerawork. After leaving university my interests have expanded hugely, especially in regards to 3D computer modelling, animation, and various forms of filmmaking. My experience as a housekeeper has also shown me the importance of collaboration and maintaining a positive attitude in the workplace. My ambition moving forward is to learn in becoming a vital cog in the wheel of post-production for film and television, while enhancing my skills and experience in camerawork and visuals similar to those who've inspired me the most, including Roger Deakins and his work on the Dune films.
