Riccardo Trentuno

About Riccardo

I am a passionate screenwriter with a strong inclination towards more authorial productions that offer not just entertainment but also meaning and depth. Holding a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from the University of Bologna, I have always sought to explore the complex dynamics of human nature and existential questions that stimulate both critical thinking and emotionality. This passion for in-depth exploration is reflected in my writing, where I strive to weave narratives that resonate with audiences on multiple levels. My academic journey was further enriched through an online course on the art of cross-media writing offered by the University of Michigan on Coursera, equipping me with innovative tools for storytelling across various platforms. Currently, I am expanding my competence and artistic vision at the London Film School, where I am completing a Master's in Screenwriting. Here, I am developing a portfolio of works that, though still in its early stages, reflects my commitment to creating meaningful and impactful content. For me, cinema is more than just a means of escape; it's a mirror to society, a way to explore the human condition, and provoke reflection. My ambitions align with creating works that not only entertain but also inspire, challenge, and provoke the audience, inviting them to reflect on themselves and the surrounding world. While I currently lack direct experience in external projects, I am eager to bring my fresh perspective, my thirst for learning, and my uncharted passion to productions that value depth and authenticity as much as I do. I invite anyone interested in collaboration or learning more about my approach to screenwriting to review my developing portfolio, which I am curating as part of my Master's at the London Film School. I am open to opportunities that allow me to contribute my unique voice to the cinematic landscape and am excited about working with individuals and productions that share my passion for stories that matter.
