Caitie Hanlon

About Caitie

26 year old hardworking and skilled actress, writer and producer of Scottish and Irish descent born and raised in East London. Having spent 7 years in a theatre and film school, I worked hard to push myself learning acting, set design, script-writing, camera work and all other things film and stage. After studying drama and media through school and college, I attended Kingston University, where I graduated a filmmaking course with BA(Hons). I spent over 3 years, improving my writing skills, and also found a passion for producing while filming and acting in several student short films. My passion for film hasn't let much stand in the way as I keep working to push myself into learning the most I can about the industry, only getting better as time goes on. Through acting in front of camera, and being part of several short films behind camera I feel my knowledge of film sets has only aided my learning in production and scripts - knowing what is needed of me without much guidance needed.
