I recently graduated from The London Screen Academy where I was the Locations Manager and 2nd Assistant Director on a budgeted short film and have also been an Assistant Director on a collaborative promotional video shoot for NBCU and Prince's Trust. Having worked in hospitality and retail for the last few years while in school, I have learned to be calm and level headed in stressful situations and am confident in my ability to problem solve and work efficiently to get the job done. I enjoy being collaborative and work well with others. customer service has also taught me strong conflict resolution skills that have been put to use many a time on set. I have a background in editing but found I love being on set so have been pursuing more roles in production. I love to be useful and thrive in the busy, hands on environments of sets. As I have worked in lots of small crews, I am used to stepping in to support different departments or wherever is needed even if it is out of my typical job description. Long term, I hope to get into producing or directing but I am in no rush and plan to spend many years broadening my experience and knowledge about the industry. In particular, I would like to get more experience in the locations department as I enjoyed being Locations Manager on the short film I recently worked on.
