About Balendu

I’m a second year BA Film Production student at the University for the Creative Arts in Farnham. I’m from Mumbai and have been brought up there. I'm hoping to take on projects that help me grasp the way of working in the professional world and hone my skills as a filmmaker, particularly in the camera department. I believe I’m quite good at collaborative work, and I’m actively trying to improve my skills as a solo filmmaker as well. In the past 5 years I have worked on several student films and short films, mainly as either a DP, Camera Assistant/Operator and Grip, with some experience in producing as well. I have also interned in television as a Production Assistant for a news corporation in Mumbai. Other than my interest in film I also enjoy casual photography, playing the drums and watching football.
