About Josephine Amalie

I am a recent graduate in Documentary Animation from the Royal College of Art who has always had a passion for moving pictures. I’m an open minded and curious person who enjoys and is driven by the company of people and the buzz of working in teams, benefiting from each other’s knowledge and skills, when creating a project together. I have always sought out new challenges and believe in our capability to learn and progress throughout life. I come from a large family in music, design, theatre and art in Denmark so I’ve grown up, falling in love with the power of storytelling and the joy of sharing stories in its many forms. Besides working in film and art I’ve done a great deal of volunteering for different charity organisations in Denmark and the UK the last 13 years. I’m easy going and always happy, a fast and persistent learner, I’ve moved around a lot in pursuit of education, work and new experiences so new places, faces and set of rules do not scare me. When working in a place or taking on a new project, I am 100 percent committed to the job and the people I’m working with.
