About Buppha

I've always been fascinated by films. I therefore attended Copenhagen Technical College in 2004 to study Film & TV Production/Communication. During my time there, I also began to act in my own student films. I have since been working as an actress in Film & TV, which is about 15 years now. I have thus met and worked with many interesting, professional people from around the world, and thereby have gained some invaluable experiences from my meetings and collaborations with them. But my passion for filmmaking hasn't gone anywhere. So after more than a decade working in front of the camera, in 2018 I decided to start making films again and produce my first action/romance short "Instant Risk," which I wrote, produced, directed, shot, edited, and played the lead actress as well. By the end of July 2019 I will start shooting my horror/romance short "Blood Type O," which is inspired by a true story, that I again write, produce, direct, and play the lead actress. I have also just finished my drama spec script, which is again based on a true story. I plan to send it to competitions. Or, I might try to get a fund to make the film myself. The areas of the film industry that I'm interested in the most, apart from acting, therefore are directing, screenwriting, editing, and 1st AD. I make and produce my own short films which I have to create shot lists, storyboards, script breakdowns, release forms, call sheets, and organise lots of things, including recruiting cast & crew. So by making my own films, I have acquired the useful skills I need to work in various areas of the film business. Consequently, with years of experience in film industry both in front and behind the camera, I am confident that I can bring my unique experience and skill-sets to the projects I am involved in. I love what I do and I will go the extra mile to achieve the end result I want and to exceed my own and others' expectations. I am professional, ambitious, creative, fun, friendly, outgoing, hard working, detail-oriented, team player, reliable, punctual, and is willing to learn new things.
