I am a Multimedia graduate from Ireland. I moved to London in the last year to do a 6 month part time course in post production, and to venture out away from home for a while and experience something new. I'm interest in a career in film post production, hopefully in editing or colour grading. I think editing is one of the most important parts of making a film, often making or breaking a film's story. I've always been interested in film, but it wasn't until I learned that a lot of editors who edited some of the biggest films in Hollywood were women that I started to really consider it as the path I wanted to take in film. It's been inspiring to see the talent and success of women like Thelma Schoonmaker and Sally Menke, and know that that's a viable career aspiration for me. Outside of chasing a career in film, I've spent my time in London joining new and odd hobbies like roller derby and portrait painting. I'm enjoying living in such a big and busy city, and hope I get a chance to really develop a career here and stay for some time.
