About Hal

I've always had a passion for film, and have been frequently partaking in screenwriting, photography, and directing from a young age. Though I am keen on all facets of filmmaking, my main interest lies in writing and directing- I bring a unique touch to all projects I tackle, whilst also being efficient and team-driven. My most recent major project has been the surreal short drama film 'Growth of the Soil', which is currently being submitted to festivals, and was successfully funded through a Kickstarter campaign. Outside of my directing, I love to assist on other works in any way, from writing to cinematography. Having gained both a BA and an MA in Film from The University of Warwick, I bring critical and theoretical knowledge to sets, in addition to my practical skills. As well as this, I am good-humoured and relaxed, bringing a good atmosphere to any production.
