When you have insomnia, you're never really asleep and you're never really awake... This is an essential summary I would apply to my professional career so far. Born in an indisputably good year of film in 1994 should have been enough for me to embrace my love of film and create a career of it from the days of school, but I choose more suitable and comfortable career paths, to my regret. Following a career break to travel the world for 18 months, I return to career prospects leaving me underwhelmed, lacking in a sense of creation and real achievement. I want to redirect my motivations, my talents and my experiences to be a part of projects that I can literally watch back with pride and accomplishment, and contribute to something that can have the same effect on another generation. As an experienced HR Administrator with a proven track record in managing human resources functions, I am excited to leverage my skills and passion for people in a dynamic and creative environment such as the film industry. With extensive experience in recruitment, employee relations, and organizational support, I am confident in my ability to adapt these competencies to the fast-paced and collaborative nature of film production. My strong attention to detail, exceptional communication skills, and ability to work across diverse teams align seamlessly with the needs of a growing film studio. I am eager to bring my administrative expertise, problem-solving abilities, and enthusiasm for the creative arts to support the operational and talent needs within the film world, and I am committed to helping build efficient, engaged teams that contribute to the success of every production.
