About Yusuf

Filmmaking has always been my passion. I love to watch films, and have an encyclopaedic knowledge of films dating back to 1915. I enjoy learning about filmmaking through reading books and watching documentaries. I am familiar with the entire process of filmmaking, including development, pre-production, production and post-production. My earliest experience of filmmaking was when I was a child, making short films using a DVCAM. Since then I studied media in school, learning about film history and how the creative and technical sides have evolved. I went to university and completed a BA in Film and Broadcast Production. Afterwards, I completed an MSc in Cinematography and Post-Production. During my Master"s degree I made several short films for which I was the camera operator. I have also made short films during my own time, using my own Canon 60D, and Adobe Premiere. My main areas of expertise are camera operating and scriptwriting. My other hobbies include still photography and writing stories and scripts of my own creativity. In general I am a hardworking and punctual individual who will always do my best with whatever job to which I am assigned.
