Hello! I'm Jake and here's a brief history of who I am and what I do. I grew up in this small town called Milton Keynes in the South East of England, which is world famous for two things; it's concrete cows and it's totally overblown use of roundabouts. I ended up leaving the pastoral pleasantness of Milton Keynes to attend university to study film and english, in the wonderful city of Manchester. It was here that my love for film truly blossomed, thanks to my studies, some great tutors and lecturers and my exposure to Mancunian arts and culture; I have to give a special nod to the Cornerhouse, a superb cinema that I spent more time in than I recount. After graduating in 2013, I left the north of England and headed back south to Milton Keynes, where I currently reside. Where I have spent several years working in various roles around Milton Keynes, with large companies such as Santander, Makita and Sondico. All the while i have continued to develop my interests in film through contributing to a film blog, found here: https://insidefilmdotcom.wordpress.com/, writing several scripts in my spare time and consuming as much industry news and knowledge as I can as I now look forward to a career in film.
