Millie Marsh

About Millie

Millie is a BAFTA-nominated producer, based in Cheshire. Her short animation ‘The Alan Dimension’ (dir. Jac Clinch), premiered at the 69th Festival de Cannes and was in competition at more than 80 international festivals. In 2017 it was nominated for Best Animated Short at the BAFTAs. Her short film ‘Fuel To Fire’ (dir. Sam McMullen) was in competition at Clermont-Ferrand for Best International Short Film. The film stars BAFTA-nominated George MacKay alongside Marion Bailey (Mr Turner, Vera Drake) and Clive Wood (Suffragette, Salmon Fishing in the Yemen). Millie is now a producer at Bridge Way Films, alongside founder Chris Hees (BAFTA-winner, Oscar nominee). They have a diverse slate, with projects that have been in development with the BFI and Creative England. They are currently co-producing period drama \'Amy Johnson\' with Moonriver (Xavier Marchand, ex-President of Production at eOne). Millie began her career in the production of live action and animated commercials, before attending the National Film and Television School\'s MA Producing. She brings an international perspective to her work thanks to her upbringing in Singapore, and is an advocate for women’s rights. She lives in the North West with her husband and daughter.
