About Nick
I've wanted to work as film editor since I was a teenager but was unable to pursue this at the start of my working life so I ended up as a freelance translator of French, Spanish and Portuguese. The Covid pandemic gave me time to re-assess my work life and I decided it's never too late to begin a new career path.
I've spent the past year training myself up on Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects and I'm now at a level where I feel confident enough to take the plunge into finding professional work outside the corporate sphere. I've already taken several jobs as a freelance video editor as I wanted to out my skills to the test. I'm very proud of how these projects turned out and I've received nothing but positive feedback on my work. It has definitely confirmed my passion for editing and I'm looking forward to getting stuck into some more creative projects in the future.
