The college I went to gave me and seven other talented filmmakers an opportunity to take part in a 3 week work experience in Germany Berlin. We created a short documentary on the history of graffiti in Berlin and the Berlin wall, this experience then gave me talents that allowed me to direct a BBC outreach documentary. 'Is the BBC for me?' were we asked the question if the BBC workforce truely reflected the population of Britain and will they be more excepting if a young working class person wanted to join the BBC team. This Documentary then went on to win the whole entire BBC outreach programme, which then resulted in me being given a two week work placement at the BBC's flagship magazine programme the One show. I gained valuable experience on how a television programme is brought to millions of people's screens everyday. Being able to work hands on in the media industry is an extreme and exciting experience
